We come across this museum through trip advisor so thought we'd check it out as it was an indoor activity and the weather wasn't looking great. Although it's quite small Its a great place to go if your kids like to 'touch' everything and enjoy solving puzzles. There was plenty of little activities to take part in for kids and adults alike. Our kids are 7 and 4 and both of them loved this museum, especially the pirate ship and self building lighthouse. I would say we were there for approximately 3 hours so I'd recommend taking a couple of drinks in with you as although there is a restaurant/bar just outside, there were no refreshments inside.

We were in the Algarve for a week in October. The weather was still hot (well... Hotter than the average summer in Glasgow!)
We had exhausted the beach, pool etc and were looking for somewhere a bit different to spend some time (and maybe even tire out a 2yo and 4yo?)
In terms of pricing, it was really cheap, €7 for all four of us. Good start!
The staff on reception were very friendly.
The exhibits were interactive and all the instructions were in Portuguese and English; they were probably a bit too advanced for our kids but were interesting enough.
The outside area was really nice - beautiful view over the water and a pirate ship/water exhibits and a lighthouse - all providing a great area for kids to run around and play whilst getting a wee bit of science into them too.
I would go back. We ended up being there for about 2 hours - and we could have probably stayed longer had we not needed to head for cold drinks.

Brill my 4 year old grandson really enjoyed children's area lots of experiments especially in outdoor play area.

Fabulous hands on science museum for the kids. Water features, a yellow submarine, a lighthouse and loads of other geographical and science hands on exhibits. My 3 year old spent 3 hours on the go here with barely a stop. Can't praise this place enough and it was 7 euro for a family.

Even though our children are teens we thought we would give this a go. It is more aimed at small children but at €7 for a family ticket it was an interesting way to while away an hour away from the heat; the aircon was great!
Lovely gardens too with fantastic views out to sea.

7 euros buys a family ticket for this out of the way attraction in Lagos, but it's a great price for a reasonable and interesting attraction. There are a wide range of exhibits for children and adults to participate in, some indoors, some outdoors. The staff work hard to explain the exhibits to children and help them with their translations where needed.
