Blues Bar is a fantastic bar on the quieter side of The Strip and is the perfect bar to just chill out in.
The bar looks superb, great decor that gives the bar a really cosy look,TV's dotted around the bar to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar and outside looking out into the nice little square were this bar is located.
We were here on a Wednesday night and the bar was fairly quiet,we ordered that most Portuguese of beers namely Sagres beer and these bottled beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the laid back vibe in here were we enjoyed our beers and watched the footy.
The beers were superb, with temperatures hitting the 30° + mark ( October, wow ) this light and refreshing beer is perfect to cool you down.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and this bar was now starting to get really busy and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Blues Bar is really easy to locate by walking down Avenida Dos Descobrimentos on the way to the strip and cut onto Avenida Sa Camiero in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
A great bar and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

Myself and my partner found this bar a few days into our holiday and we were immediately made to feel welcomed. Since then we went back every night, made so many wonderful memories in this Bar! One of those bars that reminds you of your local - you walk into it and instantly feel relaxed, calm and happy. Thanks Clive, Lisa and Dom!

If you want good beer and friendly staff then look no further. Most of the bars in this area are concentrated on "the strip" which is great for stags and hens and weak watered down beer and expensive cocktails with dubious alcohol content. Alternatively, if you want a decent drink at reasonable prices in a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere then you should make the effort to find this place, about a ten minute walk from the strip itself. The staff were really friendly and quiz nights are a really good laugh, there were also a good spread of ages in there so definitely
something for everyone here. Best bar we found on our stay by far.

Myself and 4 other pals travelled to Albufeira to celebrate us all turning 50 this year. After visiting the Blues Bar on the Saturday lunchtime to watch the footy, we decided that after our experiences of the main Strip and the Old Town the previous two nights, a more chilled time that evening was required. Beer and shots were naturally still a requirement, and the Blues Bar didn't disappoint. In fact, we decided to return on the Sunday evening (our last night) for more beer and shots with the added bonus of the Blues Bar Quiz on offer. The Blues Bar is well worth a visit. It's at the quieter end of the Strip (just around the corner from the Villa Petra), so can easily be missed. My advice though, give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

Found this pub by chance and loved it. Great staff, great prices and absolutely loved the pub quiz. The staff always had 5 mins for a chat.
