The coast tram operates daily along the entire coastline of Belgium. Day tickets are ridiculously cheap 6€, for an adult and 4€ for a child day pass. Wheelchairs are allowed, but motorised scooters appears to be at the discretion of the driver but we had no problem. The tram gets packed near Ostend. The platforms are raised to give wheelchair access and there are ramps on the tram. You can get on and off as many times as you like and the trams are very frequent during the day. There are no toilet facilities though.

Cheap for what it offers, efficient, comfortable (for a tram), and with an absolutely unbeatable view of the sea. We recommend getting a 10-journey card at the main ticket office at the train station.

This tram stops in ostende and actually travels from one side of Belgium to the other. 5€ day pass is good value. Good for exploring coastal towns.

It's always a pleasure to take this tram, along the sea. It goes from De Panne to Knokke and from Knokke to De Panne. There is one about every 10 minutes. It stops about every 800 meters. It's pricey if you take it only for a few stops, but cheap if you take it for example from Knokke to De Panne (55 kilometers). That's the only weird thing about it, it's the same price for 1 stop or for 50!
