The hotel location is perfect especially for football fans as its adjacent to the stadium.
However, being located a way from downtown considered as advantage. The bus stop is cross the street which will take you directly downtown in about 10min. Bus line #8 pass every 20min and you will be charged 3 Euros to ride a long.

The place is cleaned and well maintained.

In the issues sides:
1) TV channels are very limited and many of them do not work
2) Somehow isolated location, just one restaurant next to door and nothing else.
3) No bike rent possibility, that would be great idea if management thought about it.

Room Tip: as far as possible from lift, then you will be further from highway. It might become noisy if you leave window open

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate it that you help inform other guests about us.
If I may I would like to add to your comments as follows:

1) TV Channels: there is a range of 26 channels available on the TV, a wide range of languages and interests. Unfortunately, during your stay there were some issues with the satellite headend, this has been fixed. If you have a Netflix account, you can also watch TV via our free Wifi network and stream this to your TV.

2) Agreed, although our Brasserie serves excellent dinner options. Alternatively, take the public transport or a taxi into the city centre. We'd be happy to suggest some nice restaurants.

3) We have 4 bikes for rent. It may be that they were all rented out when you checked? In that case, we can certainly suggest Max Mobiel, just next to the train station which is 6 minutes on the bus.

Booked 4 nights here as a Base to explore Belgium by train. Arrived a little stressed after we had been given duff info re trams by travel staff at the station and had too walk 35mins too get to the hotel. (Hint make sure you get number 4 tram it's alot closer) on arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and we were quickly in our spacious clean family room. Which was light and airy and we'll maintained. The beds were super comfy and gave us 4 great restful nights. The express start breakfast was adequate and we were able to fuel ourselves well for our days adventures. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel it's great value and the service from all the staff was amazing

Thanks for staying with us David. Next time always try to contact the hotel reception direct on +32 9 395 05 14 for most up to date information. Bus 8, 65 and 67 stop just across the street, tram 4 Gent UZ is available at 0.8km walk.

traveled for business.
Room was excellent, excellent bed and pillows, quiet and silent.
Breakfast was null, some bread, croissants. Juices were awful, eggs not cooked. Terrible.
Restaurant below average, it's not possible to wait 1 hour or more for a steak.
Price really too high compared to the area the hotel is.
Parking 12,5 euro per day, really too much.

I welcome your feedback and thank you for making us a part of this trip to Gent. We endeavor to make sure our guests are satisfied with everything we provide. I'm happy to let you experience our cozy rooms, soft pillows and comfortable beds. Indeed, this surely gave you a good rest for the night. These are the primary reasons why we exist and I'm glad this have reflected on your stay.

I hoped to make this the same in all aspects, but I'm sorry that the breakfast selections didn't please your appetite. I have also read that the service at our restaurant was underwhelming and prices didn't work for you. I'm sorry that your dining experience was the opposite of what we have hoped for.

This surely won't be left unnoticed as I have shared your feedback with our management team to check on these areas we came up short of . Both in our pricing of all our dishes and the quality of food served. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay with us.

Your stay may not have been the best picture for a start but I am positive to capture a better one as soon as you get back.

We booked the hotel the same day we travelled, it was the only one available. Not too bad, we arrived by car but we used the public transporrt to go to the city center. Breakfast is average as well as service.

Let us know what we can do to make your stay great instead of good. Taking the public transport was certainly the best idea to travel in the city of Gent. Bus 8 leaves just across the street every 15 minutes. Get your free tourist guide at reception before you leave.

Good hotel for stop-over when traveling, next to the highway. Also good situated when you have to go to nearby University Clinic UZGent at about 800 meters. Enclosed parking is no problem, free for 2 hours, 12.5 Euro for the night .
