Around £90 a night for a double room without breakfast included. One bottle of water is left free of charge in your room.. per stay not per day.
Tea and coffee also left for one day. Bathroom has shower gel, conditioner, shampoo and body lotion.
Location wise the hotel is excellent. Around a 25 minute walk from the train station and close enough to everything in the city.
Rooms are quite small (ours being number 19) although the bathroom was quite spacious. The room overlooks the street and whilst there is a little street noise most of the noise came from guests within the hotel. Walls are paper thin. We were there at the weekend so people were coming in drunk late and shouting. On the second night it was a little bit quieter but we still didn't sleep well due to music/or band playing till late (which is acceptable) but a couple of people were shouting and moving furniture round in the early hours.
Sleep (well lack off) is the reason for the low rating and there's no one in the hotel at night to deal with loud and inconsiderate guests. (It's mentioned in the hotel book but guests ignore it)
Shame as the bed was comfy and everything else was really good.
Ghent is a beautiful city and easily navigated on foot. Lots of places to eat and drink but if you do want to eat at a particular resturant then do book as they're often very busy and it's difficult to get in.

Very welcoming and attentive staff - offered lots of advice and nothing was too much trouble.
Nice big room for the three of us with Very comfortable beds.
Nice and quiet at night time but just a short walk to the sights and bustle of the centre - excellent location.
Ghent is wonderful
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great staff and service, beautiful, clean big room with high ceiling, big windows, large soft bed with lots of fluffy pillows, nice bathroom with rain shower, satellite television. Hotel is very close to historic city centre and shopping streets. I highly recommend having a meal at Patrick Foley's where the staff is like family, extremely friendly and the food is to die for! The Saint Patricks Day celebrations and six nations rugby were once again awesome. The room was on the streetside, it was very quiet, had no noise from the large party going on at the pub.

We were looking for accommodation for a family of 5 on new year's eve and found the Boutique Hotel Onderbergen, which had a couple of options: a family room and a self-contained apartment with a separate entrance. We went for the latter. The apartment itself is very nice, with good furnishings, especially the bed linen and towels. The two minor downsides are: (i) the communal entrance to the apartment block which has a foul smell which thankfully does not extend into the apartment itself; (ii) the weird bathroom sink which appears to be made from mdf (?) and was not entirely clean (otherwise the apartment was spotless). Despite these slight downsides, the apartment represents excellent value for money for the centre of Ghent and we would definitely stay again.

When I booked this hotel I thought the price was too good to be true. What I was expecting was certainly not what we got. Lovely clean, warm room, very comfy beds. Bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels and toiletries. Staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Secure parking and an Irish Pub attached to it. Great place with good food and lovely Guinness on tap. Hotel is a short walk from the town centre.

Room Tip: Use the trams to get around, buy an all day ticket, the go everywhere and stop near the hotel
