The one thing that I was gutted about here was that all of the displays are only in French and Dutch, so as an English speaker I was at quite a disadvantage to actually learn anything. I can't tell you the first thing about the role the Parc de Porte de Hal played, but I just know it's a fab place to spend an hour whilst you're in Brussels.
In such a cosmopolitan city where several languages are frequently spoken and exchanged on the streets on a daily basis, I'm surprised that one of the most widely spoken in the world wasn't represented.
That aside, it's a fun and fascinating place to visit with incredible views and a little café too. Even though I had no idea what it was about, I'd happily go back there in a flash.
