We stayed in Paleis Hotel in end of March for about three days. The room is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The interior of the room looks like traditional European rooms in oil paintings.
The location is very convenient for museum lovers -- it is about within 10 minutes walk to Mauritshuis museum and Escher in the Palace museum. The neighborhood has many high-end shops, and also Bijenkorf. There are public transportations to the train station, but it's also within walkable distance (about 20min). The walking path to the train station is also pleasant (Hague is beautiful city and has lots of parks, afterall) and fairly easy.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also provides breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and healthy (croissant, raisin bread, yogurt, fruit, cheese, etc.)

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. We have just spent 3 nights there.
Every member of staff went 'above and beyond' the call of duty. Everyone we met was kind, welcoming, interested and helpful; it felt like a truly personal interaction, instead of the rather perfunctory experience you can have in some places. We felt very relaxed and 'at home.' The hotel building is beautiful, and lovingly cared for; our room (Deluxe) was sumptuous, with wonderful red walls, snowy white bed linen and lovely furnishing fabrics. We enjoyed the little touches, like the Easter eggs in our room on Easter Sunday! The hotel is in the oldest part of The Hague; it is a historic and interesting area, pretty much central, and handy for public transport, good coffee shops and restaurants, and also for very attractive shopping streets. We'd love to come back sometime, and thank you very much for looking after us so well.

Room Tip: There are quite steep stairs but there is also a lift!

This small hotel is in the shopping/restaurant core of The Hague, around the corner are lots of choices for dinner. The tram to/from the train station is a 5 minute walk, or on foot the station is 15-20 minutes. I stayed here for business, wifi was good, hot water machine in room for instant coffee, tea provided. Good size room for European city with nice traditional decor, it feels like a historic hotel, the wooden floor is creaky under the carpet. The bath/shower with half glass door resulted in water all over the floor, which often happens with this design. No bathroom counter space, just a ledge, hair dryer is the wall-mounted hotel type so not powerful. Shampoo/shower gel/lotion provided and all the other standard amenities. They seem to have recently gone paperless to ipads and the system or staff can be slower working things out, but nothing significant.

I cannot recommend enough this boutique hotel! the location is right in the center of town. it is clean and rooms are beautiful. I enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that they prepare your eggs as you like them. staff is very friendly and helpful. you have the option of using a free cellphone from the hotel that you can carry everywhere so you can call locally or use a map when walking in town, or look up things about Den Haag.

The hotel is right in the centre of The Hague. Rooms are clean and have all amenities except for refrigerator. Staff was helpful and nice. Be careful with minibar though: usually drinking water in hotels is free, but here the bottles are on the desk right next to free coffee and tea, and it's 5 euro per bottle.

Room Tip: mine was on the 3rd floor overlooking Molenstraat. Small and quiet street, no traffic
