This place came thoroughly recommended- however a €9 for a bit of egg milk and flour is a bit much. That and the queueing for 30 minutes didn’t make this a fab place to visit.

Great little place. I had smoked chicken, red onions, guacamole and Dutch grated cheese along with a apple crumble and cinnamon sweet pancake to share. Really fresh and the service was lovely. Highly recommended.

Very overpriced and I don’t think it was worth it for what we got. I found the waiter rude and the food was ok. The pancakes are really expensive and definitely not worth the money in my opinion.
You have to pay 50cent to use the toilet but they will take this off of you bill at the end if you present the ticket. They are also a card only restaurant and there is a queue to pay at the end as it appears they only have one card machine and multiple staff stood around ‘doing nothing’ despite it being busy.

We had planned to have pancakes during Our stay in Amsterdam and wehen we saw the long queue outside the Pancakes Amsterdam, we thought this would be the right Place.
Once inside, we found service slow. The Young servers were more than happy to talk to one another and hardly had a look at the tables unless prompted by someone. We also found out, no alcohol is served, which is a bit unusual for Amsterdam, but we had no worries about that at noon!

Perhaps Our expectations were too high, or Dutch pancakes are distinctly different from Norwegian ones, but we found them quite soggy and quite lacking in taste. My wife ordered pancake With apple crumble and was surprised to find the crumble was cold! I had ham and cheese and there were Three thin slices of ham and hardly any cheese.
We will have to try other pancake Places to find out if this is how a Dutch pancake should be - if it is, pancakes will not be on our list for our next visit to Amsterdam.
