We stumbled on this place as it is opposite our hotel and all the tables were always full and the patrons looked really happy. There was a wait to get a table along the canal as the restuarant was packed but the hosts sat us at another table and got us a couple of beers while we waited. We were then seated along the canal and had a lovely dinner.
The service was outstanding, friendly, casual yet attentive and all local from Amsterdam. We had Peter and Lorenzo as our hosts and both were fantastic.
The food was out of this world, the pizza and bruschetta are fantastic. Even their simple side salad was fresh, tasty which a great vinegerette. My husband and I love spicy food and they accommodated us with a super spicy pizza custom made (which we are both paying for this morning).
Our last night in Amsterdam and we plan to dine there again.
Last word - this place is so reasonably priced is it crazy (3 lrg beers, bruschetta, side sald, spicy pizza and lemon cake ~$55 Euros).
