A group of friends and I in Amsterdam for New Years wanted to have a nice meal on New Year’s Eve to mark the occasion, and I found this restaurant from tripadvisor. The restaurant itself is very small, cosy and ambient. The owners and staff are all Italian and make you feel welcome.
We started with fresh homemade bread and olive oil from Italy which was so simplistic yet unbelievably delicious. We then opted for the €80 four course New Years menu. To start, I had the eggplant parmigiana which was out of this world. Hands down the best I’ve ever tasted, even in Italy. Next I had the tomato, basil and burrata ravioli which was cooked al dented and absolutely delicious (see my picture...drool). Then it was the slow cooked beef with potato tart. This beef did not need chewing it was so tender! Finally I had the blueberry panacotta which again was faultless. We finished the meal with some limoncello which rounded it off perfectly. This was hands down the best food I ate in Amsterdam, and I really couldn’t recommend it enough.
