Loud enviroment and stressed Staff. We didn't reserve table but they managed to fix a table for us anyway. It was also really hot inside and a lot of "steaksmoke" without any fan that takes care of it.. The shirt smelled after this visit..

We were looking for a steakhouse for dinner and Rolli's had good reviews so off we went. When we arrived I noticed this wasn't like any steakhouse I'd been to before, none of the quintessential dim lightning, heavy curtains and well dress staff. It is a route 66 themed restaurant that has a casual U.S. diner feel to it. We were tried from flying and not looking our best so the unpretentious atmosphere was welcomed. They specialize in many different type of steaks and by types I do not mean cuts but animals. Horse, elk, ostrich, bear, and yes beef (cow). I wasn't feeling especially adventurous on this given night so i went for the Argentinian style beef. Served on a molten lava hot salt slab, the steak was cook a perfectly medium rare delicious and so were the accompanying fries. My husband had the fish and chips, he reported that they were also good. However surprisingly a close second and third to my steak were the rösti potatoes and the house lager, SO good! Good lively place, seemed to be enjoyed by a lot of local business people. I would say it's defiantly worth a stop.

Great restaurant with awesome food and service. Fantastic stake house with cool American atmosphere. Both opening and main courses were just great. Mostly recommend.

I was a little surprised when I was told this was a great place to eat but I gave it a chance and I am glad I did.

If you order a steak they will bring it out partially cooked with 2 stones on a platter.

One of these stones is hot and the other one is room temperature. The concept behind this is you leave the steak on the hot stone to cook it more and when it is done you move it to the other stone.

The meat was very flavorful and this made for a great slow meal for lots of conversation. Think cooking and fondue.

The restaurant is very small so you need to make a reservation. We had a large party with 6 people and we all had a lot of fun.

Our wait staff Misea and Dilek were outstanding and made the meal that much more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place to eat in Zurich I would most certainly put this on your list.

The restaurant is quite small. Therefore, a reservation is almost always required. Seating is somehow narrow but the noise level is not too bad. The staff is very friendly and fast. The meat cuts are excellent and cooked to the point.
