We had a lovely tempura and teppanyaki evening meal. The restaurant was full when we arrived. The table we booked was expecting us. We then had to wait about 15min for the menu and then again for a waiter to take our order and another 15-20 min wait for our drinks. But it was Saturday and the maître d'hôtel and its staff were so nice (the japanese chefs as well) that the wait was forgiven. The Miyako staff is the best at BRP. More efficient and nicer than at the Brasserie, more knowledgeable and keen to please than at AS PIC and more hands on than at the lobby bar.
+++: food quality. Delicious mixed tempura. Staff kindness.
---: whenever someone opened the restaurant door we were inundated by a cloud of cigarette smoke (and we weren't that close To the door!). Maybe smokers might be kind enough (for other people health) to smoke a little bit further away in the gardens? Besides, when you try to taste food, cigarette smoke spoils the taste. Such a shame...
