My husband and I stayed at Hotel Hermitage for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel was beautiful, with modern and spacious rooms. The view from our room was breathtaking from morning to evening.

All the staff was absolutely amazing, from the reception to service at the bar and at the restaurant. The chef's provided us with 2 evenings of delicious vegan food.

They went well out of their way to make our wedding anniversary special, and I cannot be more grateful for that. We will definitely visit them again in summer and enjoy all the water activities.

We never felt uncomfortable due to Covid, with everyone wearing their masks and the tables had more than enough space between them, so you could enjoy your meal without worries.

The location is perfect, far enough from city center (10 min drive) but with a magificient view of the mountains across the lake. Probably best spot in Luzern for that. Why not 5*? Small things: at arrival we were told that dinner in the hotel restaurant is not granted (altough considering the covid situation, only guest of the hotel can dine) so being put on a “waiting list” was not really reassuring. In the end, we did get our call at 8:15, but what if we woud’ve not?
Basicaly we did buy our dinner outside to be sure and not depend on their call.
Another thing that can be OK for some, bathroom and shower do not have doors, so maybe OK for couples but we were specificaly 2 adults with a kid. Really?
Last thing... so the panoramic windows are spectacular...but the very very squeking armchairs are ruinuing the atmosphere. Maybe it was just our room.

The rooms, the personnel, the food, everything was just perfect!
The view on the lac and the mount Pilatus from the room is unique and really breathtaking.
The restaurant serves quality food and the service is fantastic.
