The most perfect massage experience! The spa manager is very capable and helped me with my back problems in a short amount of time! A small but very lovely spa and top notch quality. I can't wait to go again.

.We decided to spend our pre-Christmas getaway at a luxury hotel in Lucerne, and we chose the Grand Hotel. In the first moments of our stay, we were immediately captivated by the aristocratic atmosphere, the spacious room, and the magnificent view from our balcony.
I absolutely loved the breakfast area, which was decorated beautifully for the holiday season . In general, the food was freshly made delicious and well presented.
Same goes for our dinner at Juliette’s restaurant.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this classy and aristocratic hotel, and I would highly recommend it

Very nice hotel. A bit overpriced, but no complaints. Very pretty and great location. You could probably find a cheaper hotel with a similar experience, nothing out of the ordinary here. Staff was very nice and helpful.

This grand historic hotel , has seen better days, and is in need of a refurb. The spacious interiors are dark and gloomy, (if only they can up the lighting).
My wife and I had a nice room with fantastic views over the lake & mountains. Room is comfortable, except for the noisy aircon, which switches of at 10 minute intervals .
Whilst the dining outlets are good (we only tried Juliette for dinner, and breakfast); again, the ambience is took dark and introverted. We had meals at neighboring hotels : Schweizerhof & Mandarin Oriental, & both had a livelier vibe.
Nevertheless, Location is superb being lakeside, & 5 minutes away from old town , with its shops & restaurants.
This could be a very distinguished & luxurious hotel, but it requires substantial investment in refurbishment.

Hotel National is a beautiful 5 star hotel overlooking Lake Lucerne. We stayed two nights, and were thoroughly impressed with the room, and service. The breakfast that is provided with room accommodation was phenomenal, and we ate outside on the patio while admiring the spectacular view. We had to catch a train early when we left, which is a 2 min drive away. I realized I left an item in the room and called the hotel asap, they had a driver swing the item by the train station which allowed us to board on time, grateful for their help. We highly recommend this hotel, and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
Room tip: When getting a taxi to the train station, ask the fare beforehand. We were told at the train station by Taxi Ole that the fare was 25 CHF!

This hotel was very lovely and a perfect location. We took our entire family for vacation. I communicated direct with the hotel for reservations as we needed 4 rooms and they responded quickly with quotes. They made arrangements for the family of 4 traveling with us to have a lakefront suite that they added extra beds to and it was lovely! The rest of us had two person room. We enjoyed the lakeside patio for after dinner sitting; we had breakfast included and the breakfast buffet was beautiful and you could order additional hot items from the kitchen. The staff was so helpful in providing bus passes and helping book reservations for the tour to Mt. Pilatus. Close to everything - we walked a lot along the lake and enjoyed restaurants, sightseeing, etc. There was an indoor pool that grandchildren enjoyed. Also a nightly turndown. I would stay there again! Thank you to the hotel for providing a memorable vacation.
