In a quiet street about ten minutes bus ride from main train station (# 1 or 19). Walkable in about 15-20 mins across the river.
Check-in was quick, efficient and friendly and the service of the (busy) front office staff continued to be courteous and helpful throughout.
The room with a balcony on the 6th floor was large, functional and comfortable, with all the amenities expected at this level. The sizeable private balcony with a small table and chairs was a nice surprise and pleasant for a morning coffee or evening drink in the open air. The hotel could do more to clear up the cigarette butts lying around (it's a non-smoking room, so I assume they are from other rooms flung across).
The aircon worked well and the cups and glasses provided for drinks were very good quality (sponsored) - a nice touch of class at this level of hotel.
Breakfast was included, albeit not stated on our booking. The quality and variety of fare are good, although it gets busy and noisy during peak time (I suggest going into the additional dining room space at the back).
A good experience at a well-managed hotel.
