About 7 min walking distance from the train station, this is a lovely hotel with polite and helpful staff, excellent rooms and a great onsite restaurant- Bolero - which serves excellent food.
We had an issue with the aircon in our room and on informing staff were immediately relocated into another room.

The Cascada Hotel was a good stay. Located right by the train station and on the "other side" of the downtown area, which was okay. It was about a 10 minute walk which we didn't mind, but the area walking at night was iffy. The hotel itself was clean, rooms are a bit small. Staff was friendly.

Great hotel. Every person was extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast waitstaff,
Front desk, and housekeeping, all went above and beyond what most hotels would. Our favorite was the free bike rental. Gives you a break from the busy downtown touristy part of Lucerne. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is really, really good and i do recommend it. The bed is super comfy, the air con works well (great with 30 degrees and lots of walking). The refilling of the fridge for water and soft drinks was great. We preferred coke zero and they obliged willingly. The room size was good with plenty of desk space. The downside is the state of the toweels. They were ok but for 5 stars, you need fluffy soft towells. The showe over the bath was ordinary. the bath side is very high and there was nowhere to store our own shampoos. The breakfast was ok, well better than ok but not a 5 star breakfast. The choices were the same every day. Again, our needs were met but it just fell a little short. The staff were very nice and could have been a little more attentive in the breakfast room.
