Pros:
• it was just about as close as you can get to the leaning tower
• helpful reception staff, who offered us complimentary coffee at the cafe next door as we were early and our room wasn't ready
• tea and coffee facilities provided in the room
• great view of the tower from our room
•good breakfast, with pastries and croissants
• close to the airport - just €15 from airport by taxi

Cons:
•very steep stairs, with no lift. Ok for us, but could cause problem for very young/old/drunk

This was so amazing, we came to Pisa, found the hotel and hoped to get a room with a view and so when we got to the room we couldn´t believe our own eyes, we could see the Leaning Tower from our bed!! It was amazing! The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We only stayed there for 2 nights and the staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served at the bar beside the hotel and we could choose whatever we wanted from the bar and as much as we wanted. It was so cool to sit outside, have breakfast and just stare at the beautiful leaning tower of Pisa. The location is great and you almost feel like you are in a small town. Great location, great staff, beautiful building and comfortable rooms.

There are really no words to describe the amazing feeling of going to sleep and waking up underneath The Leaning Tower of Pisa. The room was a perfect, beautiful room. The most unusual room. The hotel staff could not have been kind and helpful.

Stayed here for two nights following research and was hoping to have a room with a view of the tower, we did have a view but had to stick our heads out of the window to see it. You should try and get a room at the front of the property not the side. That said its very nice accommodation, room was a little on the small side but well appointed. Great wi-fi and free mini bar (water/soft drinks). The air con unit is located at bed level and as its a small room for the person on that side of the double bed it can be a little draughty. We needed air con on our visit. The welcome was excellent and the lady at reception gave a comprehensive overview of where everything was. Steps to the rooms are steep but this is an old and beautiful building. The location is exactly as described and right next to the tower. This means that the area is very very busy with tourists. The breakfast was in the cafe downstairs and again the staff were very friendly and the choice was good. I'm happy to recommend this hotel and in general terms I would say one night is enough for Pisa. In terms of the tower photos do not do it justice, the angle of tilt is far more dramatic when you actually see it. There is one subject which I think the owners may consider briefing guests on and that is, the pickpockets in the area. We were challenged twice in a day by young girls who looked like typical tourists not beggars and this was at San Rossare train station - the nearest one to the hotel and tower. Fortunately they were not successful in our case but that particular station has a real problem.

Room Tip: Ensure you clarify on booking that your room is at the side of the building that faces the tower.

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of four in the family suite which overlooks the tower.

We loved the view, the proximity to everything and the ease with which we could reach the venue from a late night arrival at Pisa airport - 12 euro can ride.

Room was ideal for a shirt stay with a separate bedroom for the 2 kids.

Have docked one star as breakfast was rather Perfunctory - coffee and a focaccia at the cafe next door.

Also note that the steps are very steep which isn't great when you are travelling with a stack of luggage, which we were. Thankfully the receptionist was very helpful carrying up a very heavy bag - incredibly fit young lady!

All up if you are in for a short stay in Pisa this place is well worth considering.
