You can certainly see the shape of the amphitheatre. Somewhat quaint as a result of the different coloured, design and height of houses. Good place to people watch.
This place epitomises Italian small city life. Full of bars and restaurants, but overlooked with residential terraced buildings completing the enclosed oval amphitheatre, it is a delight
This is a tourist center in town. OK for a drink or a quick bite, but the better food and shopping lies elsewhere.
This is just a rounded square surrounded by buildings and some restaurants / small stores. It’s cozy to sit at some bench and just observe around and this rounded roman shape. There are no roman ruins, it’s about spirit. Lucca is about spirit :)
