If you haven't been to a European market before, be sure to swing by this spot! Downstairs is full of vendors (with lots of meat) and the upstairs is full of different vendors for lunch/dinner. Find what your heart desires and eat away! There's also a culinary school to check out as well.

This place is definitely worth a visit. Downstairs you get to see all of the raw produce (and buy some souvenirs too, of the foodie variety), and upstairs there are several stands cooking extremely fresh food to order. I had a steak with potatoes and my husband had the burger. Both were very good and I'd recommend a visit for lunch if in Florence.

We visited this early on a Sunday morning. The indoor bit just seemed to be setting up but there was lots of stalls with lots of tasty food you could buy. Plenty of places to sit for a drink. The outdoor market area was busy but seemed to be selling mainly leather goods. The market is in the San Lorenzo area so also good for visiting buildings relating to the Medici.

You have to visit the market. Getting through the ridiculous amount of vendors to enter the market is a pain but the second floor is a food hall with tons of options. There are options for every price range and taste...even a vegan/vegetarian place to eat. We have eaten here for at least 3 days because it allows us to choose and we don’t have to eat the same thjng. Give it a try!
