Had a great morning tour with Nora. She was very informative regarding evrything Florentine, from art history to where the best local places to eat are situated. Nora was very engaging to all ages, her English was excellent and easy to understand. It was great to hear from a local about the history of the city as you could tell how passionate she was in the stories and information she gave the group. It was a real pleasure to spend the morning with Nora and learn about Florence and it's many famous inhabitants. Don't book with anyone else this is the perfect tour.

This was our first experience with a free walking tour. It was most satisfying and Nora proved to be a passionate and very knowledgeable guide. It was well planned from the time we were checked-in to the moment we parted. Nora gave us interesting (and sometimes funny) information about the different sites , the Medicci family, sculptures, museums, etc as well as useful tips about the restaurants and cafes. It was a pleasure discovering Florence with her . Nora was also equipped with a portable speaker-microphone which allowed the group to hear her properly. Thanks very much from our family for the guided tour which took place on Easter Sunday. Nora clearly deserves a 5* rating.

We made the morning tour with Nora and was absolutely worth it! Nora was super nice and a great guide. We got an overview of the main sights and history of Florence, super interesting! Nora also gave us some food & drinks tips and will recommend this tour to everyone interested in having a good time and learning more about beautiful Florence!

Our guide was Nora (Eleonora) and she said that she was doing a PhD in art history. The morning tour mainly covered the area to the south of the river. As well as the history of the area she also covered more up to date matters. Knowledgable, informative, amusing - she was the best guide we have ever had on a walking tour. We enjoyed it so much and learned so much that we have decided to go back to Florence.

We went on two tours with La Bussola - the morning tour which mainly covered the older area to the south of the river and the afternoon tour which covered the area to the north of the river. We have been on free walking tours before and are great fans. (As others have said, they are not ‘free’ but you pay afterwards for how good you think it was.)

However we found that the La Bussola tours raised the bar to an outstanding level. Our guides were not only excellent and informative but were actually University graduates in art history - they really knew what they were talking about.

Go on a La Bussola tour - you will not be disappointed.

The tour was great with Ivan, he show us the best of Florence and some hidden secrets! Highly recommend this tour and the tour guide. He also showed us the best Ice Cream shops and teached us how to determine if the Ice Cream Shop was artesanal or not. Also great restaurants recommendations.
