We got a good deal on this hotel and the location is excellent, right on the main square. The room was comfortable, but the window was in a corner so it was quite dark. Also whenever the person in the next room turned on a tap, it caused a very loud bang, which was a little annoying. We mentioned this to the management on check out, but they didn't seem very interested. Breakfast was plentiful and went on until 10:00. Wifi worked well.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Palermo. We only stayed 3 nights at the end of our 3 week visit in Italy because it was only 1/2 hr from the Airport (55 Euros priviate taxis). But shuttle buses are near by for those who wish to use them for much less cost. The hotel was modern with free WIFI, fresh fruit in the room every day, breakfast was included, along with robes, slippers and toiletries. Even though it rained on and off during our stay, we had a great time. We used the Hop on Hop off bus at 20 Euro each good for 24 hours. We recommend to anyone who can only stay a short time to use this bus to see as much as possible. The stop was a short distance across the street from the hotel. Shopping and restaurants are all around. We enjoyed two wonderful and affordable dinners at two local restaurants, the Canelletto Verde (which is around the corner from the bus stop) and also the Carpaccio to the right of the Politeama when you exit. . Both served great wine and food. I enjoyed the area so much I walked in the rain through the "old city" and discovered the Four Corners, the "shamefull fountain of statues" and a most beautiful church where I witnessed a lovely wedding taking palce. I can't say enough wonderful things and would definitely stay in the Politeama again.

We ended our 3 week Sicilian visit here and spent 3 nights. Check in was easy, staff very helpful with luggage and spoke English. Room was clean and modern Bathrooms. Included were soft robes, slippers and toiletries. Fresh fruit in our room every day and a great breakfast display which included Prosecco fresh squeezed juices and more. We couldn't ask for more. Hotel is centrally located with lots of shopping, restaurants and the hop on hop off bus for touring the busy and very interesting city.

We stayed here for two nights B&B and got an excellent prepaid deal in advance for less than 70 Euros a night. We paid 13 Euros a night for valet parking.

Very good location for all of the sights.

Our room on the 5th floor was spacious and had good views over the square.

The bathroom especially could have done with a good updating.

Good selection at breakfast including make your own cannoli and sparkling wine.
