Stayed here 2 nights. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel well decorated. Breakfasts were delicious--high quality and good assortment, served in nice setting. Ate dinner in restaurant one night, which was also very good. Neighborhood is historical, and is conveniently located. It borders some areas where we would not be comfortable walking at night.

Lovely stay. Giuseppe (Josef) in the restaurant was outstanding. We already miss him! Ate dinner there 3 nights in a row - Carlo is an amazing chef. Lovely history and artwork. Easy access to sights including Ballaro market. Grazie mille and arrivederci!

Stayed here for just two nights, and it was such a lovely hotel. Rooms spacious, bed incredibly comfortable, and very quiet. The breakfast was just delicious, with a huge array of Sicilian foods to tempt you. Great staff, and a special thank you to Maria for helping us out. Ciao!

A decidedly mixed verdict but the bottom line is that this didn't feel remotely like the internet pix.
Pros:
- central location in old town
- good courtyard restaurant with great salumi

Cons
- quality of room, from size to upkeep to cleanliness
- horrendous wifi which was never fixed despite repeated complaints
- noise from courtyard
- access to room via narrow staircase
- spotty breakfast buffet which tended to run short of items like croissant, bread and eggs while offering in abundance plenty of weird stuff (pasta and caponata) that looked left over from last night's dinner

We stayed here for three nights at the start of our tour of Sicily and found it an excellent place to arrive at as a first stopping off point. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and a good size and the location of the hotel was excellent for exploring the sights of Palermo on foot. The outside area for breakfast and meals was shaded and really comfortable to sit in either morning or evening. We ate in the hotel on two evenings and thought the food was really good. I would return to this hotel and am happy to recommend it.
