Just spent the last 5 nights here, loved it, it’s in middle of an orange grove, very quiet, nowhere nearby to walk to for food etc so you definitely need a car, great location for exploring this coast of the island, rooms cleaned well and staff were great. Ate a couple of evening meals in hotel and food was excellent.

This is not the first time we stayed at this house. It is minutes away, literally, from the airport. It is also very close to the city centre, and popular shopping centres like Porte di Catania and Ikea.

There is private parking on site, within the fenced perimiter. The host and the place itself, is very welcoming. It has a very good breakfast facility and the restaurant is open from 2pm till late, offering delicious food with hand picked local ingredients (some of which they grow on site!).

Rooms are very clean, spacious and with various amenities like fridge, kettle, soaps, AC, hairdryer etc. They have some lovely terraces too with excellent views of Etna. The kids have ample place to run and play, including a play area with sand and various slides etc.

There is quite a spacious pool and pool area, a good walk within the perimiter alongside citrus trees, and a safely locked gate taking you all the way to a sandy beach and the sea! what else could you ask for!

A very easy 5 star for me!

We stayed here late July/early August. Giandomenico and the team showed us the best hospitality from the moment we stepped foot into their resort. We definitely needed the "biological adjustment" :-) (in joke)

Nothing was too much trouble - food, drinks and atmosphere was very pleasant and our boys enjoyed playing with Francesco/Andrea and the others. Hopefully see you next year Giandomenico :-)

We stayed here for three nights during a recent trip to Sicily. We wanted somewhere close to Etna and Catania Airport without having to drive into Catania. This place is about a 20 min drive from the airport and straightforward.
The owner is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are quite basic but clean and have some good outside space for sitting and drying clothes etc.
The pool is a great bonus as is the access to the lovely beach. The restaurant serves food from 2pm and it is delicious. Bar snacks are available before this time.
You do need a car as there is nothing else around, as far as I am aware there isn’t a local village with other places to eat etc.

We stayed at Sicily County House and Beach for a week and loved it. It is about 15 minutes outside the city proper, so you need a car if you are staying there, but it's an easy drive to the city and a great base for traveling to sites that you want to see in Sicily, even as far as Agrigento. The rooms are clean and simply but nicely furnished. The grounds, which include about 15 acres of orange trees, are lovely, with views of Mt. Etna, and in just minutes you can stroll through the grounds right to a beautiful and uncrowded white sand beach. There is a very nice swimming pool. Breakfast is buffet style, and includes everything from toast with homemade orange marmalade to boiled eggs to cheese to homemade frittatas and homemade cakes, all of which were delicious. We ended up eating dinner on site several times, and the food is not just good but excellent. If there is any dish with fresh local fish, be sure to order it! We had a stuffed sardine dish that was amazing. The desserts are top notch as well. Very nice selection of wine too, including wine from the owner's own vineyard. Giandomenico, the host/proprietor, is incredibly helpful and nice. In fact, every person on the staff was as pleasant and helpful as could be. Great place all around!
