If you get a high floor room the view is nice.
I had to change because the internet is absolutely useless, you cannot iron a shirt in your room, you cannot make a cup of coffee in your room. The receptionist is completely useless and reply every request with “I don’t know “ - I don’t think she understands a word of English...
Too bad - it would not take a lot and then it would be a nice hotel.

The unit we had was on the third floor and had a great view of the Old City. A very short walk away. The unit was double volume with the loft area being the bedroom and bathroom. NOT suitable for elderly as stairs quite steep. Breakfast very basic. Pay street parking right outside the hotel. Euro .25 for 45 mins so inexpensive. free at night time. We'd certainly recommend this if you are one of the types that spend little time in the hotel room but when you do want to have a great view and great location.

We booked the Europa Hotel because of its location, views, parking and spacious room.
Location and views were fine, but parking was not evident, and we took our luck on the street, unbelievably finding a space. The room at the top of the hotel was indeed spacious but poorly furnished and equipped. The parquet flooring was stained, the kitchette did not have a kettle, nor any glasses anywhere. Two sofas were covered with bed quilts - I have stayed in hostels that have been superior in every way, can't believe the Europa claims to be a **** hotel.

Situated on the side of the water with fabulous views across to the old city, castle and out across the water this hotel is perfect for exploring the city and surrounding area.
The staff are all 5*. Speaking perfect English, very welcoming and helpful.
The rooms are basic in a nice way but with crisp white linen and lovely fluffy towels .
Breakfast was typical and well stocked with a relaxed approach to cut of time.
