Perfect food and hosts at a great price! So much better than many of the tourist ones but so close to the centre.

My husband was skeptical because of the out of the way location but the smile we got from the gentleman proprietor was magic. He teased me into ordering in Italian. the recommended bottle of valpolicella was excellent and reasonably priced. We had handmade spinach gnocchi, smoked swordfish carpaccio and wild mushrooms with polenta. We ate early at 7 so there was no trouble finding a table. It is tiny but charming

This place is definitely a hidden gem. It’s located behind all the touristy restaurants near the arena. It’s small so you need to get there before 9pm for a table especially if you are a large group. The food was was outstanding, it’s run by an elderly couple. Be ready to spend at least 2 hours there.

We came to Enocibus for lunch after we searched for an authentic Italian restaurant that is not filled with tourists.
The place is so cute and cozy and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Although they did not seem to speak English, they understood everything we said.
The menu is small but has standard dishes as well as some dishes you don't see in every standard restaurant. The signature dish (pig leg) was amazing, so were the homemade gnocci, the wine and everything else.
On top of that, it is not even expensive.

I can only recommend this restaurant.

We were really looking forward to our meal at the Enocibus, having read all the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. Sure enough the welcome was lovely and the ambience was good. Nor was there anything wrong with the food, but it was very plain. Most of the dishes are basically ham/sausage/cooked meat or fish presented in an attractive way - the sort of thing that most people could produce if they shopped at a good deli.
