This cafe has been consistently good over a number of years.

Simple food and limited choice but good quality.

Always very friendly staff with a great sense of humour.
We went there as often as possible, breakfast, supper and after the opera when it was always civilized and buzzing...sometimes until two in the morning.

Their red wine Masi Campofiorin is especially good value for what it is. They also do a wide range of cocktails.

Good fun place for the discerning.

Arrived unannounced one sunny evening with a party of 17. Didn't phase them at all. Managed to arrange some chairs and tables and had us all seated enjoying a beer in minutes.
Great service, excellent food and lovely wine.
Wonderful evening.. thanks.

Turning up without a reservation when there was an opera we were amazed that we managed to get the very last table here and the waiters then very kindly added a table next to it to accommodate the 4 of us.

Not having much time to eat we all decided to go for the lasagne and were delighted we had as it was very different from the lasagne we're used to, but so much better and lighter made with veal.

The Valpolicella we had to go with it was great and our faith in Italian food and wine was maintained.

An excellent place for a quick and delicious meal

Sunday morning, 7:00 am and town is asleep. The only place open is AL Teatro. Actually it is a great place to start a day. Cheerful server with a big smile, pleasant view and best of all, TripAdvisor sign proudly displayed in window. The management is clearly not afraid of receiving bad press. And they won't judging on my experience.

Ate for lunch, we had margarita pizza, mushroom pizza and Mediterranean salad. Pizza very good, thin crust, large volume meat/mushrooms. Margarita pizza very good as well. Salad looked great but was bland. Needed and herb topping or some dressing. Service good. Location near the plaza but not picturesque. I would say average for the area. But that says a lot. Most places here are just as good.
