Venice Pasta Academy was located mere minutes from our hostel, so we decided to give it a try after seeing the displays of fresh pasta. I ordered the tagliatelle pasta with the ragu al pollo. The food was pretty good, not amazing by any means, but it was filling and inexpensive. Afterwards, I ordered a gelato. Flavor wise, it was good, but the gelato seemed to have little bits of ice in it (as if it had been frozen for a little too long). Food wasn't bad by any means, but also not amazing.
However, I did LOVE the setting. It was cute and unique, there were lots of samples of local products, and the staff was English-speaking. I would probably buy packaged food from here, but I'm not sure that I would get pasta or gelato again.
