Great location and quiet with rooms cleaned daily and comfy beds! The curtains block our the sunlight to ensure you can sleep until you wish. This hotel has very accomodating English speaking concierge and friendly staff. We even needed different adapters and the staff were happy to loan us one for the duration of our stay. An added bonus was having a mini fridge in our room. Not many places we have stayed in Europe has that. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for 6 nights in June 2017 and never had any issues. The location is great; 10 minutes or less walk to Rialto or St. Marks Square, and 5 minutes to Accedemia bridge with a fairly low amount of tourist traffic in the hotels immediate vicinity. The dock at the end of the street just a few meters away from the entrance is a nice place to watch the traffic go by on the grand canal with a bottle of wine or your favorite drink! We had a small classic double which was perfect for us and was cleaned nicely every day by the hotel staff.

The breakfast selection was a tad smaller than other hotels I’ve stayed in throughout Italy but it was definitely sufficient. The woman who made us our coffee each morning was attentive, pleasant, and had our cappuccino order memorized by day two.

The front desk staff helped us make reservations on a few nights and was overall very nice and helpful.

The biggest downfall by far to this hotel is the lack of attention to details in the rooms. Many of the other reviews I read here on TripAdvisor mentioned damaged walls and other bits of furniture and they are exactly right. There were wood pieces chipped off of the beds headboard, the walls were very scraped up and dented in a few places, a couple lights on the ceiling were out, and in the bathroom there was also damage to the walls. For a hotel rated four stars, I was not expecting the rooms to have such ugly marks of wear and tear and its for this reason that I did not give the full five stars in my review.

That being said, nobody goes to Venice to sit in their hotel room and stare at the walls so It didn't really bother me, everything else was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is difficult to review as it did the job we needed it to do, for us that was a base in Venice in a good location however for the price it wasn't quite as nice as expected.
The Location was great, everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance of this hotel.
The continental breakfast was more than sufficient and the ladies who served the tea/ coffee were very efficient.
The room wasn't bad, and to be fair I only paid for a basic room but it wasn't anything special and there was no view to speak of.
Parts of the hotel I personally would say needed a bit of refurbishment however some might say this added to the charm. I passed numerous hotels on my travels which I would consider over this one should I visit Venice again.

Stayed in the hotel in the beginning of May. Have to say I was a bit nervous from reading the reviews after I booked. But I was pleasantly surprised. True, it isn't exactly on the canal, but it was a really nice experience. Rooms were super clean, a bit on the small side. Staff was really helpful and it is centrally located. Would stay here again for sure. A beautiful quaint little hotel that has a lot of character and charm.

This hotel is in a great location. No more than a ten minute (or less) walk to St. Mark's Piazza, this location is wonderful because it is convenient, yet quiet and a private water taxi drops you off almost right at the doorway.

Our room had single beds (which we requested, as we noted that King beds are unique in Italy) and were pleased that the beds shared a single frame...almost like a King bed!

The washroom had a tub and shower, although the shower stall was smallish with no designated space for shampoo, soap ,etc....still, perfectly adequate.

A/C worked well and was relatively quiet.

The provided breakfast was good...the usual pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals. hard boiled eggs...no hot items other than coffee and tea.

Hotel staff were helpful and polite.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
