This is a quaint boutique hotel in an excellent location in Venice. The room was quite comfy and breakfast, which was included, was excellent. We met other couples in the breakfast room who were returning to CimaRosa for a repeat visit. Speaks well for this hotel. We would certainly book there again.

The owner and staff here provide a seamless and exceptional experience for those staying in their B and B. Although B and B seems a bit of a misnomer. It is so much more. Read the website and other reviews. It will give good insight. The breakfast is fresh and personalized each morning. The rooms, courtyard, salon are well appointed, made up each day, fresh towels, and the room made up with terrific attention to service. I.e., pajamas neatly folded under pillow. Arrangements are made as well as any concierge. A lot of five stars don’t hit the service points they do here. Don’t miss interpret the stay. It’s not white glove with silver service. But It is quite charming and one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Your own place on the Grand Canal...how cool is that?

To close, I would say it is usually apparent when the owner is on site. Not here. Although we interacted with the owner, her team of Valentina and Melody are easily mistaken for owners as they all share a true sense of hospitality. As the title says: This isn’t an accident, but something carefully nurtured by a caring owner.

This B&B is owned by Brittany and her husband. A couple of stops from the train station in Venice. Get off at St. Stae stop. Very easy to find. It’s on the quieter side of Venice, so, you’re definitely away from all the craziness that’s around St. Marco square. Though it’s not far from it if you choose to go there. Highly recommend getting the ferry pass for however long your stay is.

The property itself is in a building that has other local residents, so, you feel like a local, even tho you are really not. The furnishings are simple and elegant..think Restoration Hardware. The common area consists of the reception desk, living room, kitchen and several tables to eat at. Breakfast is provided and if you see the plum jam, you should definitely give it a try. Brittany and her staff are friendly and helpful. We were so impressed by the housekeeping staff after she pretty organized our entire room for us. If she lived in Los Angeles, I’d love for her to come over to our place and do that every week.

After coming from Rome, Cima Rosa was a relaxing way to end our vacation and you won’t regret staying there.

Would you enjoy feeling like a local even if it was for just a few days? Then here's your opportunity. Alight from the vaporetto at the San Stae stop walk down a narrow street and turn right into a even narrower street and you arrive at a somewhat hidden entrance. Go through the gates and across the first square, then in through another lot of gates into a private exquisite courtyard and you have arrived! Wow! Breathless! Georgeous, stunning!
So this is what it feels like to have your own Palazzo on the Grand Canal, be it on the smaller scale. At the ground level of the building you can walk straight back out to the canal and view the private boats tied up there but instead stay, relax, unwind in an exquisite suite overlooking the canal. Daniele and Brittany have restored this palazzo brilliantly. The colour schemes they have used are just beauitful. The breakfast area is magic overlooking the canal, and guests have their own little alcove outside the suites to make coffee and teas throughout the day. Water is always available in the fridge. Recommendations for eating and suggestions on what to see, where to go are excellent. The Osteria Mocenigo just around the corner from Cima Rosa is a life saver. Tired, exhausted in a good way after a full day of walking Venice. No problem, here is a local Osteria frequented and full each night by locals with delicious unpretentious Italian fare. And reasonably priced. And when you are feeling more refreshed and a little more adventurous try Antiche Carampane one of my favourites in Venice. Stylish, intimate, great atmosphere and wonderful food. But, but a little tricky to find in the dark! Beware, take a torch with you and directions before you set off. If you get lost like we did the first and second time 7 years apart, there are always locals who will go out of their way to help you. So much to see in Venice, so much to do. Stay as many days as you can afford, walk it, expecially the non tourist areas. This time we spent time in the Jewish quarter. What a history! Visit the Museum and particularly the Synagogue. It was amazing.
This is not the Hotel Danieli nor the Hotel Cipriani.....what it is instead is an authentic opportunity to stay in a small exquisite boutique b&b in an old palazzo recently renovated. Grab the opportunity. You'll love it.
Thanks to all at Cima Rosa for such a wonderful stay. Bruno and Louise, Australia

I was looking for a romantic hotel that wouldn't have any negative reviews. After a long time looking I found Cima Rosa and we didn't regret it.
My husband communicated with the managers in advance and got really friendly and timely responses. We got a room with channel view as requested and it was exactly how it looked on the photo. Extremely well supplied, cozy, excellent linen and bedding and daily cleaning service beyond expectations, plus a small kitchenette with coffee, tea, venetian cookies, water and wine if I remember right.
Breakfasts were really cozy and homemade and we had a channel view every day.
we are extremely happy with our stay. It was memorable stay and we loved it.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.
