We stayed at Orion for two nights and it was absolutely perfect for our trip.

The location is fantastic right in the heart of Venice, just a couple of streets away from San Marco's Square and just 5 minutes from Rialto. Plus the little kiosk across from the hotel does the best gelato in Venice. Handy for picking up a bottle of water too.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and there's always someone on reception anytime of the day or night.

We were in a small room but it didn't get too hot even in July and was still bright and airy. The bathroom was clean and the room had air con, TV and mini bar.

No lift, which wasn't a problem for us but worth bearing in mind if you're slightly less mobile.

Free breakfast was brilliant. Fresh pastries, great coffee, etc.

We will definitely stay here next time we're in Venice.

Orion you glad you didn't stay anywhere else.

We just finished a great 3 night stay at Hotel Orion. It was a fantastic location to get around the core of Venice and was only a 5 minute walk to the north side of the Rialto Bridge. The staff was very friendly and the room were clean. We did find it challenging to sleep due flat-hard pillows but nothing another bottle of wine wouldn't solve.

We rented a double and a triple room in this hotel, about two blocks from the Piazza San Marco. It was nice to be able to stop back and freshen up before heading out for more sightseing. Note, no elevator in this hotel, so be prepared for some stairs. The rooms were comfortable and the ceilings were wooden with heavy crossbeams which added to the character. The shower stall in our bathroom was petite, but everything was clean and up to date. The hotel concierge graciously printed some ticket vouchers for me, after helping to trouble shoot their down to my phone.I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Orion for 7 nights. The hotel was absolutely perfect! Just minutes from St Marks square, so right in the middle of all the action Making everywhere in venice easily reachable (we walked everywhere happily) Once inside the hotel it is quiet and peaceful and spotlessly clean.

The staff are so friendly, helpful and a real pleasure to speak to. Whenever we had questions the lovely staff were more than happy to help and had wonderful advice and tips for the city.

Breakfast was lovely with plentiful eggs, fruit, pastries, cheese, meats, yoghurt etc! A bonus was the hotel staff were so helpful in providing gluten free products for my daughter!

The hotel room, was really nice - complete with minibar (with reasonable prices!), tv, hairdryer, lots of fresh towels and AC. A perfect base to explore beautiful venice.

I really cannot fault this hotel, the staff or location.

Highly recommended!

Hotel staff very friendly, very accommodating. Allowed us to keep luggage there before and after checkout, and were even able to print tour reservations for us. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, nothing special. Room was small, but nice. Hairdryer was worthless, air drying hair outside is quicker. Location was great. Very close to St. Mark's square, and not too far from Rialto Bridge. Will stay here again if we return.
