Arriving to Venice was breathtaking as you enter the end of the line on the train you make your way to the Venice port.
We were confused with how to make it to our hotel with the busy crowds it was hard to see where to go first.
I called the hotel and a welcome gentleman answered excited to here from me and guided me on the phone to the proper taxi.
Once you arrive to the mainland in San Marco you are overwhelmed with beautiful scenery and cutler.
Entering the small alley way to the hotel for our 1st visit to Venice was interesting and we found the hotel quite easily.
Entering the hotel you are greeted by welcoming staff and we were handed a key to our room.
The room was breath taking. Completely romantic and exceptionally decorated in colonial decor. Every detail not left and the cleaning services were gracious and helpful when you ran out of towels.
Turn down service was really cute. When we returned from dinner and noticed our room hand been cleaned yet again and turn down service happened we were happy. Slippers placed on either side of the bed along with chocolate not to mention the plate of fresh fruit welcoming us was delicious and a wonderful surprise.
The bathroom was very clean and the shower was comfortable. The double sinks accompanied with beautiful soaps, the windows opening on the room overlooking the water boat taxi slip and views of the water and the spacious room with comfortable bed.
One evening we wanted to do a private tour of Venice by water taxi and the hotel staff made arrangements for us to be picked up right outside the hotel for $120. The ride lasts for one hour and I recommend this at sunset.
Once we returned we were ready for dinner and the hotel staff personally walked us over to the beautiful restaurant on the water that unless we asked we would have never known existed.
Baglioni Hotel Luna thank you for making our 1st stay in Venice memorable and beautiful. Your attention to detail and welcoming attitude made our stay perfect.
We look forward to visiting your other hotels in the future.
