During our trip to Italy, we were encouraged to visit Pellestrina, a quaint little fishing village a short distance from Venice. The village was a welcome respite from the bustle of Venice. While there, we discovered La Celeste.; an unassuming restaurant perched on the water. Our lunch was excellent; fresh, delicious seafood prepared perfectly. This was arguably the best meal of our trip; and our trip was filled with excellent meals. From the antipasto, to the seafood spaghetti, to the grilled mixed fish, to the tiramisu and coffee; nothing could have been more enjoyable. It is certainly worth the trip to Pellistrina; for the change of pace as well as the outstanding restaurant that resides there.
