“Great refreshments after a long day!”
Reviewed April 1, 2016

Glad we stopped by here, located in a nice area within Dorsoduro we had a couple of drinks here all within budget and they also have a good selection of Chiccetti. I can see why this place is always busy and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

“Great place to stop in on whilst on a "wine stroll"”
Reviewed March 5, 2016

We originally stopped in here for a umbra rosso and glass of prosecco and maybe a cicchetti or two (glass of house red, Italian champagne and tapas) - and ended up staying most of the night!
Venetians go out for a giro d'ombra (wine stroll) rather than a "pub crawl", having a small glass of wine and a snack in several bars. It's a fabulous way to spend an evening. This is a fabulous stop on a stroll. Make sure that you try the truffle toast; it's gorgeous!

“Adorable local eatery”
Reviewed February 27, 2016 via mobile

This adorable local combines quality regional wines, light bites and warm service. The perfect mid-afternoon pit stop for tourists and locals alike. Take a seat in the window looking out onto a canal and watch the world go by.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed February 20, 2016

We came across this nice bar whilst walking around the San Polo part of Venice. We received a warm welcome, the prosecco was great value at 2.50 euro a glass and the food looked good as well, although we did not try it.
We came back the next day as we enjoyed the prosecco whilst sat n the bar stools at the window watching the world go by.
We gave this a four star as I noticed in the toilet there was no soap to wash your hands with and whilst we appreciate these things do run out, it was still empty the next day. We noticed one of the bar tenders use the toilet whilst it was empty, so I would hope he would have been aware of this?

“A friendship heart of Venice”
Reviewed February 9, 2016

If you want to feel how warm and friendly are Venice people, and if you like good and rare wines, you'll find here good food as well.
A beautiful spot with a little place outside to enjoy all Venice unique taste, and a cosy woodden space inside, with all of the beating locals hearts. Local friends meet there and you'll be welcome to be part of them and discover what Venice hides of human warm.
Everything is good there, even the price!
