I wanted to like this hotel, but there were a few things that I could not get past.

Let me start with the pros of this hotel:

The junior suite we were in had very high ceiling and two little terraces you could stand on to overlook the canal.

The view of the canal is amazing!

They helped us book a water taxi to pick us up from the train station, which we appreciated.

The cons of this hotel were:
Breakfast was not included (and it was the only hotel in Italy where we stayed that it was not complimentary) and wound up being 72 euros for two people and was sub par.
The restaurant downstairs was OK. Not great.
I was also disappointed that they did not have a coffee machine in the room and that they charged me for a cup of coffee to be brought to my room. I have never had that happen before.

Overall, I felt that for the 1000 Euros or more a night I was spending for our suite, that they wouldn’t nickel and dime the other things.

I will not stay here again nor will I recommend anyone else to stay here.

During my last visit to Venice, I stayed at the SINA Centurion Palace - Antinoo's Restaurant. I had often admired the beautiful façade of the palazzo from Canal Grande as well as the inner courtyard on Campo di San Gregorio. Now was the perfect time to indulge myself.

As soon as you enter the hotel and you are greeted by the extremely friendly staff, you will feel at home. The entire hotel bathes in luxury and contemporary design. It’s the perfect combination between old and new.

I also had a dinner at Antinoo's restaurant and it was exquisite. Massimo Livan serves cuisine with a contemporary twist. Every dish was a feast for the eyes and delicious to taste.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Sina Centurion Palace and I highly recommend it. The hospitality, the luxury, the location, the food and above all the view on Canal Grande make it unforgettable.

Room Tip: Book a hotel with view on Canal Grande

Very beautiful hotel with nice designed, spacious and comfortable rooms, comfortable bed and big and nice bathroom. Grand Canal view from room windows is also amazing! The hotel is on beautiful position wiith direct access to the Grand Canal, between the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. On the terrace of the hotel with beautiful view to Grand Canal is also a boat ramp so you can arrive to the hotel directly with water taxi or gondola. Stuff is very friendly and professional, and breakfast is amazing, in the restaurant with terrace and Grand Canal view! Beautiful experience

Room Tip: Rooms with Grand Canal view have a spectacular view

This was our first trip to Venice and I don't think we could have found a better place to stay than this hotel.

The reservation assistant was extremely helpful when we booked and the connections from the airport to the hotel via cab and then private water taxi were all organised for us without any problems.

The hotel itself is situated in Dorsoduro, which is a more peaceful and less touristy part of Venice. We had a suite with stunning views across the canal and two balconies from which we could enjoy the vista, which is particularly magical at twilight.

Dorsuduro is steeped in architectural history and local artisan shops & restaurants are just a short stroll away from the hotel. There is also a municipal water bus stop just outside the hotel which is handy if you want to go further afield, but best avoided at rush hour when it gets uncomfortably packed out.

Our suite at the hotel had a very stylish duplex lay-out with a bedroom on the upper floor and sitting room below. It had a very boho, arty vibe which was perfect for a location that boasts several museums just a short walk away (The Peggy Guggenheim collection is literally around the corner and is an absolutely wonderful place).

My only small qualm with the suite design is that it had no drawers or storage space in the bedroom (all storage space was housed in a walk-in closet downstairs. Some drawer space upstairs would have been handy).

Apart from that, the suite has both a bath and a fabulously powerful rainfall shower, TVs both upstairs and downstairs and really efficient air conditioning which was a must as our stay was during a very hot spell.

The staff were all charming, room service delivery was speedy and the food was wonderful (don't leave without trying the ice cream!).

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Sina Centurion Palace and were treated as highly valued guests by both the manager (Mr Morra) and every single member of the staff. We will definitely be returning to the hotel on our next trip to Venice.

The hotel is on a great location between and the Gallerie dell'Accademia and the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute.
Beautiful interior court and just in front of the grand canal.
The decor is really bad and tasteless. We stayed at a suite and nothing was done right the furniture was cheap ...really cheap!. The bathrooms are design with no human sense and the hardware is oversacale and splatters water everywhere. we tried 3 rooms and they all had the same problem. Is quite unfortunate to have such a beautiful palace with decor this bad.
Sheets and pillows where delicious.
The people that work in the hotel are excellent. 7 stars to the service!
Is very easy to get a water taxi form the hotel to go anywhere.
The breakfast buffet does not belong to this scale of hotel is quite ordinary, but the room service is great!
I hope this palace gets one day the interiors that it deserves.

Room Tip: 402 and 400 had great view.
