There's a huge selection to pick from and you can even make up your own fillings. Panini are lovely and fresh and all of the combinations work really well. Have been there twice in the last two days for lunch.

Before visiting the Frari in the San Polo area of Venice we needed lunch and saw the Bar Ai Nomboli. A quick look at Trip Advisor indicated we shouldn't be disappointed and this proved to be the case. Although it is unpretentious, the paninis we had were absolutely delicious; I had one including prawns and potato and my wife one that contained cheese and figs; they were just right to fill us to keep us going through the afternoon. There was a wide range of paninis to choose from as well as other dishes.
Friendly staff in a relaxing atmosphere completed our enjoyment of lunch at the Bar Ai Nomboli.

The menue for the panini there is incredible. I guess you can chosse from more than 100 different kinds. Each panini is a composition of local incredients and the variety reaches from seafood to self made salami or just vegetables. We had a spicy mushroom/vegetable and a salami, vegetable mozarella sandwich. Both had been just delicious and tasted excellent. But the surprise at the end was the price. It was the best price-performance ratio we found in venice food vice.

Came here today for a late lunch and the young man serving was so helpful and friendly, we said we wanted a panini and he helpfully gave us a menu in English. Some of the choices we wanted could not be done however he explained as there was no Brie for the panini he would use an Italian equivalent - I had no doubt that this would be anything other than good and I was correct, he made a delicious panini!!

Drinks were also good, a lot of locals popped in as well to pick up takeaway breads or sandwiches and it was a lovely little spot in Venice which is authentic and I would recommend! Thanks for your hospitality.

Found by accident, but glad we did. Great choice of sandwiches and salads, staff friendly and helpful, speak English. Sandwiches are big enough and really tasty. We would recommend this place.
