What a delight it was to stay at the Ruzzini Palace, from the moment we entered the hotel until the minute we left (after 3 days & nights), the entire stay was delightful.
The staff are, quite simply, excellent; extremely friendly & efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel & suite was first class throughout with wonderful décor & comfort everywhere whilst the facilities were superb.
Breakfast was simply overwhelming with an extensive range of hot & cold food to meet anyone's requirements &, just in case you couldn't find what you wanted, they were happy to cook something else at a very reasonable cost.
The hotel location is also exceptional in the Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Whilst it is in a reasonable quiet location away from the maddening crowd, it is only a few minutes walk from St Marks or Rialto & also just a couple of minutes from the delightful (& often overlooked) Campo San Giovanni e Paulo.
Truly excellent, I could not recommend it any more highly.

Stayed here for four nights in early March, delighted to arrive and receive a free room upgrade. Our room was massive, with a lovely view over the square, great bed and great bathroom. The hotel is beautiful, and is in a fabulour location with staff who are really happy to provide advice, including restaurants. The breakfast is simply outstanding with lovely staff on hand. I would highly recommend staying here.

Can't say enough good things about location. Easy access to main attractions and beside a nice quiet square. Nice attic room with great views of city. Only taking a point off for works that were going on during the day which was a bit annoying and we had a noisy storage heater also. Must be said staff sorted this out quickly though. Lovely breakfast also.

Compared to other hotels, RZP ranked near the top, and it’s easy to see why. We have been well looked after! It’s perfectly situated, with everything in close walking distance. Rooms are tidy and come with plenty of amenities. Front desk are always on hand to help, with suggestions, maps, tips etc. And the barman was magnificent; fed us silly (olives in particular were best we’ve ever had) and gave us very generous servings of our spritzers.

Some things you should know though:

The airport pickup was expensive at €150, but it was faultless. Worth it in my opinion as we were taken up the grand canal on a water taxi, and meant we didn’t have to spend anything on a tour (still do a gondola ride though for the experience).

They do run a free service to Murano, where the glass is made. We were taken directly to the factory, and it was interesting. They do try and tempt you into buying some things, and it just so happened we did buy a few things. These were pandora bracelet charms, and they are beautiful. €20 a pop and made on the island. We didn’t buy these out of pressure though, I was pre-warned that these charms are sold on Murano, and anticipated on buying a couple for an early birthday present, for my mother.

Would highly recommend staying here, as we have not been disappointed by anything.

Stayed here for 4 nights, what can I say.... amazing from the moment we arrived to the moment we had to leave. The hotel location is just perfect, walking distance to all major sight seeing attractions. Looks out over a lovely square with a couple of restaurants, shops etc. Very quiet at night. Arrived by private water taxi straight to the back of the hotel, and again got collected in the same way. Only way to travel really, highly recommend it, not cheap but well worth every penny. The staff in this hotel are fantastic, every single member of staff that we came into contact with, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, they are a credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is just charming, we had one of the Junior suites,(301) this was spacious, clean and had everything you can expect in a suite. It overlooked the square which was lovely.
Breakfast was included and was really nice, had everything you could have wanted, including Prosecco (nice touch) I can't recommend this hotel enough, if you book to stay here you will not be disappointed. Definitely will be returning to Venice and of course here the Ruzzini Palace Hotel, thanks for a wonderful break.
