Being lucky enough to visit this underestimated city regularly, I have stayed in several hotels including top of the range but torresino is the one I come back to because of the friendliness, cleanliness and comfort at a very reasonable price. It is in a quiet street about 15 mins walk from the centre. Daniele is hospitality himself. My room downstairs in the courtyard was a real refuge. I will be back!

Room Tip: All quiet but those in the courtyard are even quieter

The very friendly and helpful Daniel welcomed us to this excellent B&B: it is well placed in the town and everywhere is a short walk. The rooms were clean and cool with air conditioning. There are small patios for fresh air and eating. John did his morning Tai Chi on them. I liked the custard croissant for breakfast!

Room Tip: One room has ensuite. Our room had a separate private bathroom.

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in the area and was the same price as a hotel nearby for a single night. Room was big, clean and comfortable and very close to the centre, it was managed by a really friendly english-speaking guy who provided my croissant, orange juice and coffee every morning. If you are on a budget-this is the place. Most rooms have inclusive bathrooms but mine was down the corridor a bit but massive with bath and 2 types of showers and sinks. However just check that this is for your exclusive use as one of the recent reviewers described it as a common bathroom as there is no outside lock.

Room Tip: all good and quiet-front ones probably have better views of this back road

I stayed in this B&B for two nights. I chose the room with the private bathroom but the common bathroom looked clean as well (see picture).
Generally better than a hotel - staying there it felt more like being part of Padova, rather than visiting.

Overall + :
- Beautiful building close to main square of Pratto della Valle and San Antonio
- Spacious rooms and very comfortable bathroom: it overall feels very clean and secure
- Host lives on the upper floor (apparently) and is always very available
- Host is very organized : she text me in advance to know what time I will be arriving so that everything is prepared!
- Very interesting vegal material to read in the dining room

Overall - :
- I was not very pleased with the breakfast - no fruit were available (only croissant and marmelade)
- At the time I visited, this hostel only accepted cash, I could not use a credit card for the room payment

We recently stayed at this B and B and we found it reasonably priced, attractive and comfortable, and much less sterile than a hotel. We would stay there again. The service was fine. Breakfast included tea or coffee, orange juice and croissants. The hotel is not very close to the university where we were visiting, but it was nice to walk there.

Room Tip: There are just three rooms, one double room with a private bath and the other two rooms share bathroom facilities.
