This is a great, relatively new hotel but it is away from the main attractions. I left my rental car in the hotel garage and on the recommendation of the hotel desk staff, took bus 57 which was a 20 minute ride right to the core. We had a nice sized suite on an upper floor with all the amenities. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and all spoke excellent English.

Room Tip: They have a reasonably priced suite upgrade.

We stayed here one night at the end of July. We had two business rooms with our two teenagers on the 6th floor and the end of the hallway, the hotel is about a 25 min tram ride from downtown. The rooms were clean and large, the beds were great, the breakfast buffet (as usual at the Radisson) fantastic. We had a very good night sleep. Nice pool, Sauna, steam room and exercise room. We parked the car in the garage which cost Euro 25. (easy to get to from the highway) and took the tram downtown (buy tickets before at the Bar / Tobac !) There seem to be some local restaurants nearby, which we did not try.

Room Tip: Our rooms were 608 and 610, at the end of the hallway, great insulated windows

We visited Milan in July 2016 for a short break and were a little worried that we would be too far from the main city staying at the Radisson Blu. In fact, I think this is better. We found that the more "authentic" Italian restaurants were off the beaten path - you'd be walking down a deserted street and then open the door to a restaurant to find it jam packed! For this reason, I'd say definitely don't be put off by the fact that the Radisson Blu is a little further out.

The inside is beautifully decorated. The lobby is grand and spacious, with very stylish decor and lots of space to relax if you wish to. It did take a little while to check in, but this was because of the people in front of us and in no way a reflection on the staff! The staff were at all time polite, friendly, and professional. The lady that checked us in apologised for the wait and was welcoming and efficient.

Our room was very large with big patio doors that opened up to a view over the little garden terrace at the back (we were on the third floor). The bathroom was brilliant; lots of space, well lit and a fantastic walk in shower that spanned the whole width of the bathroom. I actually found myself making excuses to shower as the water pressure was brilliant and there are all sorts of different settings/angles. Weirdly, my favourite thing was the wardrobe - it had great storage solutions and lights inside! Could have done with a mirror near the TV for when the bathroom was engaged, but I just used the full length mirror on the inside of the wardrobe door, which also provided good light for my makeup.

We had drinks in the bar for two of our three nights. The bartender, Alessio, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Some guests quite obviously want to be left alone and he was very intuitive at knowing when to serve them their drinks and let them be, or chat to them about their time and make recommendations (we were always happy to chat!). I also had a response from Bruno once I had filled in my survey for the experience, and the staff really are just fantastically professional. I found that if you made the effort to smile and engage with them, they were delighted to enrich your stay in any way that they could. A little kindness goes a long way!

We did not eat in the restaurant, so can't comment there.

The tram stop is only a short walk away (although we still had to ask the staff to help us out there, too!). Nothing was too much trouble and when we requested a new iron as ours wasn't getting hot enough, we had barely settled in the room before they had arrived with it, full of apologies.

The pool was a little crowded on a few occasions, but this was down to a particular guest who didn't understand the courtesy of the lane system. We went at about 10pm one evening for a quiet swim and were the only ones there. I also used the sauna (although these are separate for men and women) and it was a pleasant temperature - not stifling. The changing facilities by the pool were clean, but there is not much space to change, so this is best done in the hotel room. The gym seemed well equipped and is neither large nor small. It was quiet whenever we went down.

Overall, this hotel is grand enough to make you feel like a true fashionista, and comfortable enough to rest away the pizza induced fog! I loved it, and would be delighted to visit again.

Room Tip: Rooms are large and spacious - area is more functional than beautiful, so best to overlook the garden terrace.

We (2 adults/1 child) stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016.
The hotel doesn’t have the most central location. But there is a tram link only 50 meters away..which we used frequently (smart and cheap option). The area around it is a bit boring, but there are some restaurants.
We didn’t feel a warm welcome from the receptionist.. felt a bit of coldness (which we experienced several times during our stay). A smiling course could maybe be in order?

The room was nice (what you expect from a Radisson hotel) with a very nice bathroom. Good wifi and decent selection of TV channels. Travelling with children so the swimming pool was popular.
Breakfast was very nice, had everything you could imagine. I wouldn’t mind staying here again another time.

Great stay at the Milan Radisson. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Helpful reception and birthday treats left in the hotel room.
Hotel is a 5 minute walk from a train station that takes you to the centre. Bus stops and tram stations very close to the hotel also.
