This hotel is not exactly in city centre, but easily reachable by bus 57, tram 12 or Uber works fine as well, or if you please - walking takes around an hour to the old town. Travelling to/from the airport, there is a regular direct train from Bovisa station which is roughly 1,3 km away from the hotel, you can walk there (ask directions and map from reception), or take a taxi to Bovisa (about 20eur - yes taxis in Milano are surprisingly expensive compared to everything else: food, clothes, etc.)
The hotel itself looks quite new, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Tea&coffee maker is all rooms, which is great! There is a small swimming pool with a few jacuzzi-like streams, and a couple of saunas (separate for men/woman). However occasionally saunas are not in use during working hours (maintenance/cleaning), which is a pity.
We went to the restaurant, which was great both in terms of the food and the service, but the prices are somewhat higher than on average in Milano. Room service was spotless too, and marvellously decorated!
Breakfast is versatile and plentiful! Juices, fruits, coffees, pastry, bacon, sausages, eggs (and it's possible to order omelettes to your liking). We were kind of missing porridge, but then we never asked for it.
All in all we really enjoyed all of our trips to this hotel and will definitely stay there again!More
