Great breakfast each morning, amazing cocktails at night, good value for money. Friendly staff.

Lovely garden area with an “egg chair” to relax in. We spent a night in the garden ordering drinks and playing cards. Nice atmosphere to relax.

Rooms have a comfy bed. Always made up perfectly by the cleaners each day.

Iron and ironing board available on request.

City tax is €5 per person, per night. Payable when you check out.

A bit noisy from the street, but only really noticed it in the morning.

Good selection of restaurants and bars nearby.

Would recommend to others

The rooms vary, but ours was a delightful room with Art Deco features and wooden panelling. A pleasure to stay in. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very extensive in a very pleasing room. The price was extremely reasonable given the quality of the decor and general ambiance. I would happily stay there again. Overall a friendly atmosphere prevailed.

Stayed 4 nights. Location is excellent. It’s just about 200m from Via Buenos Aires. Also about 10-15 minute walk from la Stazione Centrale Milano.

Breakfast in this hotel is fabulous! The selection is wide and quality very good.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

The room we booked was a Superior double. Be aware that these rooms have a deep bath with no ‘stand up’ shower; this means that the shower rose/shower head is attached to the wall, not far above the bath. One must sit in the bath and duck head under shower rose to wash your hair.
You can detach the rose and stand up BUT it’s difficult to wash with only one available hand while holding shower with the other. You can of course ask your partner to stand and hold the shower rose above your head whilst you wash.
Or, select a different room style.

Room size was fine, with good wardrobe space and the bed was comfy.

Afternoons the bar is open for drinks in the courtyard area - very pleasant.

Hotel Sanpi was one of our favourite hotels on our 5 week trip of Europe. We wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights.

- Really great location.
- Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Try Pave around the corner
- 15 minute walk to Central Train Station.
- Multiple trams close by including #1, #33, #9
- Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating
- Room was clean, quiet, a good size, great storage, modern bathroom, balcony overlooking the courtyard and the bed was comfy too (we stayed in Room 115)
- Breakfast room and bar had beautiful decor, courtyard garden was lovely
- Breakfast had a lot of variety especially with dietary requirements like gluten free options
- Great value

Room tip: Great room is 115
