Upgraded, great champagne, great suites, great location. Very helpful staff too!

I wouldn’t think twice about staying again at this hotel, easy decision; hotel of choice in Milan.

Additionally, found the hotel to exceptionally clean.

Great location for getting from airport and travelling around the city.

Everything in the hotel is high spec from furnishing, decoration, lighting. The 7 floor chandelier is amazing.

Excellent service. Quick checkin. Only downside is no one asked if we wanted help with our bags. The person cleaning our room was great. All our stuff was neatly arranged when we came back from sight seeing.

Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options. The fresh juice machine was brilliant. Great service from everyone.

The pool and hot tub on seventh floor was great place to relax after day out sightseeing.

The Maserati transfer to Duomo and back was fun.

Great stay at the hotel.

On June 5th I booked one night at this hotel through Travelocity for $750 for the end of September. Less than 24 hours later (117 days prior to the reservation) I realized I had made a mistake and would not be able to include a night in Milan in our travel plans. Travelocity said the hotel’s policy was “no refunds” but since it was within 24 hours of booking, she thought it would be a reasonable request and would call the hotel. She did and was told they would refund the $750. Travelocity requested an email confirmation which the hotel said they would provide. A day later, Travelocity had not heard from the hotel, called back, and was told there would be no refund. If this hotel is so uncompromising about this situation you might want to think twice about how intractable they might be about any problem or special request if you stayed there.

My wife and I had a great birthday weekend at the Gallia - our first visit. They treated us wonderfully, though it did help with my status to have a suite upgrade and getting free breakfast as a titanium elite. The room was great with a good view of the train station, the breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed drinks on the rooftop terrace bar. Oh - and the use of the Maserati car to take us to the city center was a great plus! Thanks to all at the Gallia. We will be back!

What a shame! A beautiful hotel, spectacularly appointed, but they choose to significantly restrict the guests use of air conditioning! I was so hot I could not sleep. It seems if you leave the room the air conditioning goes off - then when you return, there is no way the system can reduce the room temperature haven’t been turned off all day. Frankly, this is NOT luxury if you are in beautiful surroundings but are uncomfortable and can not sleep. I’ll never stay here again!
