Owner description: The Duomo, symbol of Milan in the world, is one of the largest cathedrals in Italy and Europe. Patrimony of Milanese people and humanity, over the centuries it has been expressing, with its magnificence, the devotion of humanity toward the Divine, involving future generations in an endless commitment. The Milan Cathedral, besides being an artistic monument, is a privileged place of prayer, deeply linked to the memory and teachings of the Bishops who succeeded on St. Ambrose's chair, and to the history of the millions of worshippers who, every year, gather in this place to celebrate the Sacred Mysteries. The Cathedral is the mother Church of the Diocese, having a symbolic role of exemplarity both in the life of the city worship, and in relation with the Diocese activity.
Useful Information: Bathroom facilities, Wheelchair access

Amazing architectural gem. Personally, I think it is better to visit this monument and square in the morning (not so crowded).

Get there very early or book your tickets online. Great place to visit. Amazing architecture. The main shopping area and food places are nearby too

We visited it in January. It was an extremely interesting experience. The Dom is a spectacular church. It was very crowdy, we were waiting for an hour (maybe more) at the line, but it deserved. Don't miss it!

We had a combined Ticket B
Had to wait for an hour to be able to enter the dome but the waiting was worth it. Once inside we could visit the dome, the archeological cellar and the crypta.
Only then we realised that we had to go out again to queue for another half an hour to be able to take the stairs to the rooftop of the dome. Well this waiting was worth it to.

We bought online ticket for terrace.
First of all it’s very nice to see the terrace and be on top to see all details of building.
It’s takes ca. 1hour to see the terrace and it takes 5/10 min to walk all the stairs up.

We bought ticket online (get your guide) and all online ticket must be check and change to Papier ticket in ticket office close to Dom !
But the great thing is that we could skip the line because we bought it online which save us 1hour of waiting.
