The junior suite was very large and had a seperate bedroom and a loungeroom. It was great to stay in whilst we were in Trieste. The WiFi worked very well. There was free garaged parking. The breakfast was brought to the room each morning. There is plenty of restaurants very close to the B & B. The centre was about 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommended.

after another stay in the B&B I have to say that it became even better: breakfast even better and Iolanda the owner of the B&B seemed to be even more competent about Trieste . This B&B is truely to recommend. The quality of sleep there is truely empowering.

I had a real struggle with train cancellations and bus replacements when traveling over to Trieste from Ljubljana, but from the moment I arrived I was able to totally relax in the beautifully kept B&B. I didn't realise that I would basically have half the apartment to myself, with a double bedroom, bathroom and living/dining room for my use. I enjoyed everything about this B&B; it was comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, it was next to the pedestrian area and near to the city centre, and Ms Bianco was incredibly hospitable.

I would mention that there is a large friendly German Shepherd in the B&B (not in the area that a visitor would stay), so if you are scared of dogs maybe mention this before arrival so that she isn't in the front room to come and sniff you/greet you when you arrive :)

Accomodated by Mrs Bianco we spent 4 wonderful days in her BB. She explained Trieste, the breakfast was good, and the room polished. Everything which someone can expect from a BB and more. Have stayed there a second time in the meantime.

What a lovely place with great host, friendly dog :)
We have travelled as 2 couples - 4 adults, stayed in an apartment (1 double room, 1 twin room with 2 single beds, plus a big lounge & bathroom).
The place is very clean, lovely furnishings, basic breakfast served in the living room (tosts, jams, honey etc), but you can choose what you would like to have for the morning and at what time.
Close to the city & bus / railway station.
It takes about 15-20 min by foot (even when carrying the big luggage and trying to work out where to go :).
The owner will provide all the details how to find the place, but it's dead easy :)
Also she can organise the trips to see the city if you would like to have a guide.

If you travel during summer months probably it would be useful to take ear plugs with you, as if the window is open it can get quite noisy from the street. With the window shut you almost can't hear any traffic. There is an air condintioning in the main living room, but not sure how it works during hot weather as we didn't use it during our stay.
Well worth to stay :)
