A family of four, we spent a fantastic week in the Rosa apartment in August 2015. The families that run Conero del Fiori were extremely friendly and accommodating, from the time of booking, through the stay and to the departure. The excellent website is an absolutely true reflection of what is available.

Everything was impeccably clean, accompanied by an inconspicuous and efficient mid-week clean-up service (new towels, bedlinen, surfaces). The air-conditioning was very helpful, worked very well, and was clean. We had absolutely no problems with WiFi or any other issues. We loved the mirrors in the bathrooms, and enjoyed the tastefully-designed rooms – lots of thought and precision workmanship has gone in the interior. The location close to the beautiful surroundings of the city of Ancona and the coast make it an ideal destination for a holiday on the Adriatic coast.

The sun never stopped shining, and we never got bored enjoying the daily meals on the balcony accompanied by the sounds of nature and beautiful views especially of the sunset and Ancona. Amenities, such as friendly post office, a few market stores, tennis courts, cycling paths are close and numerous. All the nearby beaches are beautiful and each has its own charm. Ancona is a charming city. Lego shop full of stuff and the big NaturaSi are also worth the mention. The visit to the Frasassi caves was another highlight of the week.

Dear Silvano, Eugenio, Claudia, thank you very much for all your warm hospitality, and the opportunity to enjoy your fantastic place and the beautiful surroundings of the city of Ancona and the coast. Last but not least, please send our very warm greetings to Giacomo!

Thank you so much for the presently surprising and beautiful send off – the Begonia had a bit of a bash in the overloaded car, but has been flourishing since.

We are all looking forward to seeing you again in the near future.

The staff was so friendly and hospitable. Even drive with us to show us the nearest restaurant where the experience was great. The rooms are comfortable and big, large shower, nice veranda but the view was a bit disappointing. It is set on a hilltop but a bit far from the beach, however very peaceful and nice. Excellent service and away from the noise.

The apartment was large and extremely clean. The only minor negative was the lack of a kettle for making drinks - we had to utilise a pan to boil water

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and were always prepared to assist. Printing our boarding cards, as we had been able to check in due to the free Wifi, and booking a table for us at the restaurant at the local tennis club (l'orizzonte).

Air conditioning was also a bonus as it was extremely hot

Room Tip: Lavanda is on the lower floors and has air conditioning and easily sleeps 4

Agriturismo Fiori del Conero is a modern, family run apartment complex just outside the historic city of Ancona. The apartments are bright and clean, and the Agriturismo's website has lots of information to help you decide which apartment is best for you. The apartments have free wi-fi, and air conditioning which was very useful when the weather got rather hot!

The owners of the Agriturismo are very friendly and extremely helpful. The recommended arrival time is between 3pm and 7:30pm, but there was absolutely no problem when I arrived at 8:30pm due to a delayed flight. The website also says the balance of the payment needs to be paid in the first 2 days of your stay, but nobody was in any rush as long as we paid before we left.

Claudia speaks very good English, and gave us her mobile phone number in case we needed to get in touch while she wasn't at the reception area. However, I managed to get by in Italian and spoke to the other people running the Agriturismo.

The views towards the sea were breathtaking, and the terrace was a wonderful place to relax with a few drinks at the end of the day. It has the peace and relaxation of a countryside location, but is only 5-10 minutes drive to Ancona. It's also easy to get onto other major roads for day trips to places such as Urbino and San Marino.

Thanks to everyone at Agriturismo Fiori del Conero for such a wonderful holiday!

Room Tip: Find their own website, where there are floor plans and virtual tours of every room. Balcony size varies from room to room

We stayed here as three couples for 4 nights in early June. The area is absolutely beautiful, and the views from all 3 rooms (Margherita, Tulipano and Violetta) are absolutely stunning. The rooms were fab, very comfortable and great facilities (including WIFI). Great value for money and the owners/ receptionists were so accommodating, even taking time out of their day to give us a tour of the flower farm they run.
We had breakfast bought to us everyday (at a small extra charge from a local shop) and laid out for us (including making our coffees) every morning in the breakfast room and we thought it was an absolute bargain and delicious.
The hotel is close to Ancona centre and the small locality at the top of the hill is simply charming. Easy to access the wonderful beaches at portonovo, numana, sirolo and marcelli, but you'll need a car for this.
I couldn't praise this hotel enough, we'll be back!
