Me and my husband visited the Vatican In our first trip to Rome. We buyed the Omnia tour and was included the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel. If you want to skip the long line take an tour. We spend 4 hours inside and everything it is well organised

This place is like the Tardis in Doctor Who but takes things to a whole new level.

It is big looking on the outside but inside it is massive and there is a part inside which is 10 stories high but you would think it was only 40ft high.

Lots to see and marvel at.

Did this as part of a tour and have to say was glad as the queues were crazy!

Easter is a good and bad time - good if you plan bad if you don’t.

Queues are now horrendous. We went in through skip the line but its so busy it no where near as enjoyable as the last time I went years ago. It is a truly amazing place but not sure if there is an off peak time but if there is try and go then

We visited St. Peter Basilica to celebrate Eastern. Having tickets for the masses on Holy Friday, Saturday night and Sunday morning made this a special and spiritual event. Most impressive historical landmark of catholic history and church.

PAY TO SKIP THE LINE! We entered using the Omnia pass. It was worth every penny. The line to enter was so long...
Once you’re inside, the basilica is absolutely gorgeous. It was such a humbling experience.
