This is part of the Forum and the Caesar's Forum is a historical art piece worth to stroll around and take photos on it. You can also buy tickets to walk through the ruins with light show at night time.

This was fantastic...walk you way though the Forum of Caesar with a light show and audio and then be taken underneath Rome and walk though all the tunnels of the forum......Truly amazing. We booked and paid for this and Foro Di Augusto online before leaving Australia. Would suggest its a must to do so as we couldn't see anywhere to buy tickets for this or the other show any where.

Take a look at Caesar's Forum, a unique historical experience. Also, visit it at night to experience amazing light show.

This is part of the forum and I would highly advise at least buying skip the line tickets to avoid an extremely long uncomfortable wait. Be aware, despite the common belief that this is where Caesar was murdered, it is not. The actual place of Caesars murder was Lago Argentina which is a free site. I highly recommend a tour of the forum along with the Colosseum and Palentine Hill. See my review of Excusiveissimo for a great private guide.

Each emperor had to have his own forum; Julius Caesar constructed this one in 46BC. Located, nestled between the Roman Forum and Via dei Forii Imperial, not much remains of what was once a grand area constructed by Caesar. The most obvious item are the 3 columns and 2 capstones of the Temple of Venus Genetrix.
