We arrived in the evening. Our taxi/ van arranged by the hotel was waiting. Glad it was not a small sedan as we had 3 big luggage and 1 small bag. No big sign of the hotel. It looked like a residential apartment right next to St. Peter's Basilica compound. The courtyard was cute. Marco, the manager was waiting. Very charming, and we started talking about Argentine tango and salsa dancing. Dancers, pay attention. This is the hotel for you as they occasionally have tango lessons.... Marco even played Salsa music for us on Valentine's night because the nearest Salsa dancing on Sunday evening was an hour away.
Room is as described in other reviews. I like it because you can leave your messy luggage downstairs and sleep upstairs. Hotel was new so everything was clean, though bathroom smelled - plumbing issue. Downstairs sofa can be used as another bed. Location was amazing. We got to St. Peter's in 5 minute walking for the Sunday Mass ( security wait line was 10-20 min). Restaurant and markets everywhere - pizza at Miccy and dinner at Vito e Dina and Gelateria. We walked to Castel d'Angelo and Fontana de Trevi (30 min). Wifi was good, and breakfast was adequate. More
