It was amazing. He is so well versed. He was able to keep all of us engaged. Children 5 and 7 and joined by a 17 yo and 14 year old. He gave us so much insight into this and many other sites in the city. Highly recommended!

We did 3 tours, the Colosseum & Forum, Vatican and Percy Jackson tour with our 12 yr old son. Great experience from Donna answering emails promptly, meeting the guides and having great fun. The queues at Easter were unbelievable- we wouldn't have managed to get in without the guides. They made everything engaging, my son didn't whine once and practically ran from room to room to answer Maria's questions. Well worth every penny!!! Also my husband and I learnt a lot as well!!

We booked a tour of the Colloseum and Vatican with Anna in December 2017. Anna was absolutely incredible she was warm, friendly and so knowledgeable. She made the tours fun and educational for the kids. To be honest she made our trip to Rome worthwhile. I would highly recommend booking with Angela and would definitely use them again. The booking process was so easy and Angela sent us step by step processes on how to book tickets etc we found everything so easy especially while in a foreign country.

We took three tours with this company: Colosseum, Underground Crypts and Treasures of Florence. Our guides, Francesca, Francesco and Emilia, were very engaging with our 6 and 14 year olds. The kids loved learning and especially loved the treasure hunts/kids V’s parents challenge. Worth every penny!

We took three Rome Tours with Kids tours: Colosseum/Forum, Vatican, and Pompeii. We are not usually guided tour people -- and I have a degree in archaeology -- so I wasn't sure if we should take the tours, but they were definitely money well spent. Not only were the guides informational and fun, but they knew all the tricks to get through crowded sites easily.

Our first two tours were Rome -- the Colosseum/Forum and the Vatican. Marta was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and fun to be around. She made things easy to understand for our 10 year old and the parents learned a lot, too. She has a degree in art and trained for years to be a tour guide -- and she was definitely good at her job. She had games and puzzles that she had made herself that kept us all engaged and provided some little prizes along the way. Marta had a bit of an extra challenge at the Vatican, because our daughter didn't know much about the Catholic religion -- but Marta was really good about explaining things in a way that helped our daughter get the concepts. By the end of our second tour, Marta really felt like a friend and we were sad to say goodbye. 10 days later, while looking sculptures at the Louvre in Paris, our daughter was still pointing out things Marta taught her

Our third tour, in Pompeii, was with Roberta. Roberta grew up near Pompeii and definitely knew the place inside and out. As we were entering the archaeological site, one of the street vendors yelled out, "Oh, you have the best guide in Pompeii!" and I think he was right. The day we visited was rainy, but we still enjoyed the site and learned a lot. Roberta customized our tour to take us to some special places my daughter learned about in school -- as well as hit the highlights (and got us to places with roofs when it was raining hard). Roberta also had games and got us into a very heated parents vs. kid competition. She was great!

Finally, arranging the tours, making payments, and finding the meeting points were all clear and easy. I really appreciated that they sent pictures of the meeting points and detailed instructions for where to go to find our guide.

Overall we had a great experience and couldn't recommend Rome Tours with Kids highly enough.
