The size, immensity of the domed structure is worth a visit. The importance to history can be exciting. Check out the fountain that faces it.

The Pantheon is a beautiful structure and I strongly recommend going to see it. It's free to go inside and look around but the size of the inside seems very small and is full of tourists so it's difficult to see anything around the sides.
The columns are very impressive and it's especially pretty at night time when it's lit up and less busy.
As with most monuments and tourists sites in Rome, it's located down small side streets in an enclosed area , so it seems very crowded and difficult to take a nice photo . Beware of people trying to sell you selfie sticks and jewellery as they are very persistent and target tourists in popular areas, all you need to do is ignore them and walk away.

Finally the queues were abating so we decided to go in and have a look, can’t believe we nearly didn’t go in truly a magnificent structure with so many treasures you could spend quite a bit of time there. Beware of tour guides pestering you to take you round - you don’t need them

Please take a walk to this beautiful sight!
The Pantheon offers you a place to sit, rest your feet and meditate on the beauty all around you!
And it is all for free!
We were completely overwhelmed at the incredible intelligence of the people who built this amazing structure so MANY hundreds of years ago.

A must see, even just to gaze at the oculus inside! This is a wonder of both architecture and construction. You will appreciate the skills of those who built it centuries ago.
