Owner description: IN"Via dei Pettinari"a street that connects Trastevere with Campo de fiori right by the magnificient Ponte Sisto you can find a leather goods and crafts shop where all the articles are handmade exclusively in Italy.Even the leather it self comes from italians. As soon as you come in you will feel a unique sensation like you walk into an old shop in the 50’s.Do not forget that it's our own product

I visited this shop on a whim and was very happy I went inside. The staff were very helpful and friendly without being overly obsequious. Everything is handmade and reasonably priced, especially for the quality. I felt no pressure to purchase something, and I didn't purchase anything on my first visit. When I returned to the store, the owner recognized me, and we had a really nice interchange. Was glad I brought something home to remind me of Rome!

When we walked in to T Nobile, our hopes weren't too high. The place seemed small and we didn't see anything we liked right away, but then we realized that there is a huge back room to explore.

Nicely displayed are so many types of bags; there are different kinds of cross-body bags; there are many backpacks, briefcases, and business or school bags; there are duffels and overnight bags; and there are lots of little small pouches, like laptop or tablet cases, pencil cases, coin purses, belts, and keychains. There were so many styles of each type, and endless colors and shades of colors to choose from. We ended up getting two cross-body bags (one smaller and one larger), two wristlets, an iPad case, and briefcase. Our personal preference was tan, black, and chocolate brown, but they have bags in every color imaginable it seems (though few are pastel). They also had more shades of brown/tan/grey that we didn't end up getting, but they were beautiful. A few items were in metallic and in animal prints. They have two kinds of leather: calf leather (super soft, see the cross-body bags and iPad case) and buffalo leather (a little stiffer, see the briefcase). Both were lovely.

The owner was so friendly. He is Italian, but was raised in California so his English is perfect. He offered us complementary water, coffee, and wine and he carried on a great conversation. He let us shop around on our own, so he wasn't looking over our shoulder or pressuring us to buy anything. He kept telling us that it is ok for us to touch and look at anything, and don't feel pressured to buy anything. When we checked out, he gave us each a free leather keychain.

The prices are low/moderate and the quality is extremely high. All of the bags are my made by the store itself, independently. They are not Chinese or factory-made like many other places in Rome. Approximately, the laptop and tablet cases were €20-50, cross-body bags were €20-50, briefcases and duffels were €80-200, and the smaller pouches were €5-20. Men's wallets were €30.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

I researched trip advisor and found t-nobile. All the wonderful reviews were true. I bought a beautiful black leather purse for 47 euro and my husband bought a leather belt. The staff was wonderful. Wish I had more space in my suitcase for more purses.

Definitely go here for a unique purse that isn't on every street corner!
