We arrived early in the evening without a reservation. We were lucky as the restaurant gets busy. We were made welcome and served promptly by a friendly and efficient waitress. The food was excellent - simple pizzas (we were in Rome, after all!) which were prepared and cooked to perfection in the woodstove. Dining does not need to be a pyrotechnic experience - the restaurant was clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The food was all that we asked for and the service excellent. The bill was very reasonalbe. Not 'cheap-eats' but not eye-watering either! I would strongly recommend Zi Gaetana.
